CONCEALMENTOf course, we never dig up embarrassing sins on ourselves. It is always on the other fellow. And why uncover his shortcomings? Why dig to show up another when it is sure to become our own pit? If we drag a skeleton out of another's closet, it is sure to come alive and strike us. Just like a sleeping dog when roused will bite us. If only those without sin are to do the digging, we can all put up our shovels. It is smart to let buried evil rest! and rest! and rest: Never disturb it. -Leroy Brownlow, "Thoughts of Gold"
