CHARLES PEARSON studied English and History at Charleston Southern University and has worked as Executive Assistant and Marketing Project Assistant for several Fortune 500 companies in San Francisco including Charles Schwab, Accenture, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Arthur Andersen and IBM. In addition, he worked as Confidential Executive Assistant for City of Oakland City Clerk and General Manager of Public Access Channel KTOP under then Mayor Jerry Brown. He completed daily surgeon logs for Director of Anesthesiology Surgery and his team of surgeons and oversaw their administrative support, meetings and event planning at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco.
He assisted the Director of Art Fashion History at California Academy of Art to create and edit teaching modules for Art History majors and co-edited California Medical Association monthly staff newsletter “Cymatics”. He has completed various projects and other assignments in Administration division and Property management at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation including Acting Assistant Manager at 990 Polk Street senior home residence.
Charles writes fiction, paints, enjoys reading, photography, romantic entanglements, classic noir and horror films, music, The X-Files, The Edge of Night, and travel. He is currently working on a final version of his beloved manuscript Painted People. |
