CHARLES PEARSON studied English and History at Charleston Southern University and has worked as Executive Assistant and Marketing Project Assistant for several Fortune 500 companies that included Charles Schwab, Accenture, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Arthur Andersen and IBM all in San Francisco. In addition, he worked as Confidential Executive Assistant for City of Oakland’s City Clerk and General Manager of Public Access Channel KTOP under then Mayor Jerry Brown. At Kasier Permanente Hospital in San Francisco he completed daily surgeon logs for Director of Anesthesiology Surgery and his team of surgeons and oversaw their administrative support, meetings and event planning. He assisted the Director of Art Fashion History Professor at California Academy of Art to create and edit teaching modules for Art History student majors and co-edited California Medical Association monthly newsletter “Cymatics”. He has completed various projects and assignments in Administration division and Property management at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation including Acting Assistant Manager at 990 Polk Street senior home residence.
In his free time, Charles writes fiction, paints, enjoys reading, photography, romantic entanglements, classic noir and horror films, music, The Edge of Night and traveling. He is currently working on the final re-write of a fiction manuscript he publishes here as an online beta version he plans to eventually publish.
